Taylor conducted a rapid speed press junket for radio while she was in London doing promotional work for The Life of a Showgirl in an outfit that injected a little bit of that Showgirl flair.

Taylor often returns to the same designers, selecting the same ones for similar events. In predicting what she might wear for her late night blitz of promotion for Showgirl, my bets were on David Koma.

Taylor published a new commercial promoting the Target variant of her album The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd Is Your King.

It’s early to say but this shot and the corresponding cover for The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd Is Your King variant might be my favourite shots from this shoot yet.

Taylor opted to pay true homage to showgirl aesthetic by pulling original costumes from the long-standing Vegas show Jubilee! for her album visuals.

It would be impossible to do a showgirl-themed album without referencing Bob Mackie — the iconic costume designer. I’m so glad to see his designs here!

The imagery we’ve seen from The Life Of A Showgirl is already so visually arresting and layered. This shot, in particular, caught my eye.

My first thought upon seeing this particular photo was its similarity to the theatrical, vaudeville, feathery elements of the “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” performance from the Eras Tour.
