It’s nice in a lot of ways that this tender, stripped down moment in Taylor’s set that’s dedicated entirely to her roots as a singer-songwriter brings with it two very familiar names.

It’s a very Taylor outfit that plays with layering, interesting colour combinations, and schoolgirl accents (which checks the boxes for a lot of her street style moments).

While we again don’t quite know which song this get up is for, what we do know is the makeup was done by Pat McGrath - just as it was for the night Taylor announced Midnights at the MTV VMAs.

Taylor’s beautiful rich performance gown for her folklore/evermore medley at the 2021 Grammys is a custom fil coupé chiffon gown with paisley motifs and lace ruffles by Etro.

I love Taylor’s entire hair and beauty look here! So laidback and free, and the bright pop of colour from her spring coral Keds offsets those tanned legs perfectly.

Oh how I’d love to see this photo in colour and from a different angle. I love the illusion neck and subtle drape of this sweater. 

Many, many, many more thoughts to come later. But for now … I’m just breathless.

I almost got a brief Faith Connexion vibe from this dress given the waist-tie detail which was so common amongst those pieces back in the reputation days. But, of course, this is another FP piece for Taylor. 

As I personally suspected upon seeing the images, according to an article via People, Taylor styled herself — hair and makeup included. 

As she did elsewhere in the folklore photoshoot, Taylor opted to wear a floral dress by Magnolia Pearl, this one from their Summer 2015 collection — indicating perhaps that Taylor has been quietly hoarding MP pieces for years. 

Is this the most stylish way for your pets to practice social distancing? Yep. 

This is an edgier look from Taylor than we’re used to but is entirely appropriate for the NME Awards.

This heart-embroidered menswear-inspired suit set is one of the most Taylor and Lover-appropriate lewks we’ve been served this era thus far.

Though it’s difficult to tell given the low-res images, it appears that Taylor is wearing this pair of laceless leather brogues. Based on the contrast trim around the sole and heel as well as wingtip cut.  

For her performance of “IDSB”, Taylor served up a hybrid version of two bodysuits she wears on tour plus a pair of boots she also wears on tour. 

This is not exactly the chic, fashionable return to New York City I desperately yearned to see from Taylor. 

As Reputation Taylor looks on at a pile of her own previous identities, she’s wearing a custom crushed velvet and faux fur sleeved Phillip Plein bodysuit.

As one might have guessed, given the time period, her dress here is by BCBG. Taylor definitely favoured a lot of dresses by Max Azria in her self-titled and pre-Fearless days.

As Taylor described this as 2017′s only concert, she sure made it count with this intricately sheer top and tassel skirt combo from Versace. Obviously inspired by the Spring 2016 Atelier collection, it’s yet another sparkly all-black stage outfit I can get on board with.
