“Opalite” music video extended

One of the fun elements of the behind-the-scenes videos we got to see in the “extended” versions of the “Opalite” music video was how Taylor’s jewelry seemed to cue when it was filmed. You might recall she previously wore this beautiful - and unmistakeable - vintage necklace during The Life of a Showgirl promotion. Notably, in her Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe. The Sun reported Taylor had taken over the Croydon Shopping Centre around the end of November.
We see her wearing it on set with two different outfits. An all-black ensemble and with this cozy sweater, jeans, and socks + chunky oxfords. We luckily managed to get a peek at the back of Taylor’s sweater in one of the clips, revealing the signature Prada triangle on the back.
Stunningly unique vintage jewelry and designer knitwear aside, I feel I’ve worn an iteration of this type of outfit myself! It’s an example of how Taylor’s style can be easy to replicate with closet staples.
