STYLE , SORTED
Super Bowl LVIII
Taylor’s Super Bowl style has followed such a reliable formula that a predictions post felt like oversetting expectations. We love a ‘work’ uniform created in mind for a setting. And in Taylor’s ‘rookie season’ of sportsball spectatorship, she’s developed a great one.
Chiefs vs Ravens in Baltimore
It’s been fascinating to observe Taylor’s game day fashion evolve from September to now and even more so to see her wear something so utterly non-descript during such a key match like the AFC Championship - a Super Bowl decider game.
Dolphins vs Chiefs in Kansas City
Many people have wondered when Taylor would wear an 87 jersey at a game and I’m delighted that the moment has come in such a fashionably fun way courtesy of #KristinJuszczyk - wife of 49ers player Kyle Juszczyk - who has taken to repurposing old jerseys into fabulous custom coats like this one.
The Eras Tour | Lover | v4
After a two-ish month break, Taylor picked up where the US/Mexico dates of the Eras Tour left off at the end of the summer with a rousing first of three shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina - and with it, new costuming!
At MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford
Another very fun (and slightly more spicy) outfit I’d copy + paste from Taylor.
The Eras Tour | 1989 | v4
Naturally I have my own personal favourite of Taylor’s 1989 co-ordinating sets (everyone say it with me now #iykyk) but this blue shade is so good on Taylor.
The Eras Tour | 1989 | v3
Not only do we all get to benefit from Taylor in orange, but it’s also incredibly charming she chose to debut this colour in Florida - a state known for the fruit.
The Eras Tour | RED | v3
If you were wondering why this outfit worked so seamlessly to mimic the high waisted shorts of the RED Era, it’s because Taylor’s red ombre bodysuit (worn underneath here) were designed perfectly to look like a regular pair of shorts.
The Eras Tour | Lover | v2
Once again, these Versace bodysuits really are coming through like works of art. This bodysuit looks like a glitter Renaissance painting.
The Eras Tour | Lover | Glendale, Night 2
I can almost imagine that once opening night was over and Taylor was getting a feel for the physicality of the show she felt confident enough to start accessorizing ;)
The Eras Tour | Lover | Las Vegas, Night 1
I can almost imagine that once opening night was over and Taylor was getting a feel for the physicality of the show she felt confident enough to start accessorizing ;)
The Eras Tour | 1989 | v2
I don’t think I need to elaborate further that this set is my clear favourite between the two. Doesn’t she just look like the happiest string bean in green?
The Eras Tour | RED | v2
If you were wondering why this outfit worked so seamlessly to mimic the high waisted shorts of the RED Era, it’s because Taylor’s red ombre bodysuit (worn underneath here) were designed perfectly to look like a regular pair of shorts.
The Eras Tour | Fearless | v2
This dress was incredibly fun in motion - the degradé here is thanks to thousands of hand-applied Swarovski crystals.
The Eras Tour | Midnights | v1
As a former dancer myself who’s done a chair dance, I respect and feel a kinship towards Taylor challenging herself with more intricate and highly choreographed numbers on this tour. It’s even more impressive when you consider that the number appears on the tour’s final section of a three hour show.
The Eras Tour | Fearless | v1
This is Taylor Swift at her most classic for the stage - a fringed, sparkly dress and boots. It doesn’t get more staple than that.
The Eras Tour | 1989 | v1
Another moment where a throwback to previous style was going to be an easy win. There’s nothing like a matching crop top and skirt with sparkle booties to evoke the 1989 Tour.
The Eras Tour | Lover | v1
Welcome to The Eras Tour, everyone. Here, we begin a comeback tour where we seemingly last left off: With not only the first album under Taylor’s new record contract that she owns but that also had its live iteration cancelled.
The Eras Tour | RED | v1
