This ‘fit? Copy + paste!

Given the statement of the rest of her outfit (the fuzzy bucket hat, faux fur coat, patterned tights), I think going simple and understated with the boots was the right call and finisher to the ‘fit.

It also looks like the event was celebrated with an Eras-themed dress code. The perfect way to commemorate a major moment in Taylor’s life.

In her “off” time following the conclusion of the Eras Tour, it appears that Taylor spent the day visiting Children’s Mercy, a children’s hospital in Kansas City in a coordinating (yes) plaid/tartan set by Miu Miu. 

From the proper midi length and styling (swept back bun + glittering accessories + pointed pumps) this look feels like a “ladies” elegant dinner out in the city.

As expected, Taylor made an appearance at the Chiefs home game against the Raiders today in a more casual outfit than we’ve typically come to expect from Taylor’s “season two” game day fashion.

When I tell you how delighted I was to see Taylor in yet another copy + paste (mostly) outfit (Spoiler: It’s the shoes for me).

This entire outfit, chic knee high boots included that perfectly sandwich-style her bustier top and bag, was an immediate copy + paste for me. Very well played.

This outfit has a lot of recognizable, repeat elements going on for it which is something Taylor does a lot with her fashion.

Let’s firstly address the 'debutation’ in the room with us. I like to imagine that she’s smiling about the tease on the inside.

Empires have been built and fallen faster than a new reputation bodysuit, but here we are. The longest running gag of the Eras Tour comes to a close after a consecutive 131 wears - we finally have Version 2 of the reputation bodysuit! 

Back in office, indeed! Taylor truly in her element at a sold out stadium with a cat on her arm - we do love to see it. How I’ve missed her!

Even from far away, I know that this is an outfit I would personally copy + paste in a heartbeat. The combination of rich neutrals and oversized blazer truly have my heart.

This outfit continues a lot of ongoing TTPD trends. Namely, corsetry and a certain sensual appeal thanks to the rich materials used in the top and skirt.

Me: Touches down in Kansas City MO, calls the amateurs, and cuts them from the team. Taylor: Is frolicking about NYC.

Taylor’s game day fashion expands on her signature style with some “Chief” M.O.’s to soften her presence (as much as one can when you are Taylor Swift, main character of the universe).

Round two of season two of National Sportsball Observation. Last year, Taylor developed a reliable style playbook when it came to her game day fashion: women-owned/locally-owned brands, sentimental accessories, and vintage.

It isn’t all that surprising that Taylor would tap Monse for some of her looks. The two designers at the helm, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, first met when they were working together at Oscar de la Renta - one of Taylor’s longstanding favourite brands.

A brief moment of pride for me because I happened to predict a different look from this exact same collection for the MTV VMAs. I’ll take the win!

All-in, this felt like a cohesive night of looks to underpin TTPD’s aesthetic. The runway’s interplay of proportions and bustier-like top are very TTPD - sensual, emboldened, playing with what to reveal and what to hide.
