the commentary

You might recall that Taylor previously has worn pieces by VRG GRL, including a striped crochet dress while out in London after completing her three run stint of dates at Wembley on the Eras Tour.

This tracks with photos of her wearing the brand also in studio given they are from approximately the same time period. The denim pants are a repeat from Taylor’s closet - something she does often. What I found fun is that these pants have played a role in The Tortured Poets Department, The Eras Tour, and now The Life of a Showgirl. Taylor wore them during the recording process of TTPD when she was spotted leaving Electric Lady Studies in May 2023 and in the “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” music video which pulls together rehearsal footage for Eras.
